on the back porch with Anita!

If there is one thing I have always quietly longed for, it's a porch.  A big, wrap around porch that speaks of warm weather, of long quiet evenings, of a chair to relax on, of friends to chat with.

I have admired pictures of porches in America, in Australia and on the old colonial houses in India.

Well today, I am the lucky one, because I am invited - virtually at least - to spend time on the back porch of Anita from Cedar Hill Ranch.

Anita writes a wonderful blog about  Texas living with a French accent!  Her photos are stunning and her home just beautiful.  Each Friday  she invites a blogger to come and chat with her, and this week I am the lucky guest!
