Early Christmas!
I got a package today in the mail, and when I opened the envelope, oh, it felt just like Christmas. I had ordered some pretty tea towels for the kitchen from an Etsy store. Leah is not just another Etsy seller, Leah Duncan is a talented artist and her packaging is just as exquisite as the design of her screened printed tea towels. I took some pictures of the package before and after opening it... Isn't this beautiful? This reminds me of the importance of gift wrapping with holiday season coming.

New Shop Items!
Yummy finds freshly listed on the shop : a vintage American Red Cross flag and a brass boxing ring bell - I had the "Eye of the Tiger" tune from the Rocky Balboa movie in my head all day yesterday while shooting the beauty... Sometimes, it's hard to conjugate business sense with the heart... These pieces would look fab in my living space - or in my black and white office for the flag, but I am telling myself that these vintage finds will get a new adoptive place and more treasures are waiting to be hunted...

Shop Crush : Delica
Today, I am loving the work of Delica, one of my new favorite home decor shop. Delica carries eco-friendly products, such as felted bowls, coasters, placemats, pebbles, jewelry, and vessels. Inspired by nature, Delica plays with color, form and texture. I already ordered the set of felted pebble magnets to put on my magnet/ chalkboard kitchen wall, and they look better in "person" than on the pix. Also dying to get the coasters... No question about it, j'aime pas, j'adore!

Oh la la, I went treasure hunting today and I found some amazing finds! These beauties will be available soon for sale on the shop. I must admit I love these vintage finds so much that I wouldn't mind keeping them all for myself... I even seriously debated with myself whether this gorgeous early century dress form should stay in my bedroom as a jewelry display piece, it's just too perfect!

I have been busy as a bee unloading my Provence trip treasures, and they are now ready in the shop. Yummy!
Heads up for the FrenchByDesign shop fans : I am preparing a new shop section called "Ethnic Chic" featuring unique ethnic pieces that work well in contemporary and vintage interiors - I am not talking about giraffe and elephant kitchy statues, I promise!... Stay tuned!

New Shop Item!
I found this absolutely gorgeous dressmaker's dress form from the 1950/1960s... I love it so bad, I debated putting it on the shop for a few days! I keep telling myself that I should think as a business woman, added the fact that I already own a dress form... Urhhh, it is painful to be a business woman!

Happy Birthday!
Yep, today, the FrenchByDesign Etsy shop celebrates its 3rd month of activity! Woooww, it's been an amazing adventure! Close to 365 shop hearts, plus the amazing people I've had the chance to deal and interact with through the shop! I Am So Proud!
Yeah!!!!! My vintage flower frog was featured on the front page of Etsy this morning! I am sooo proud... I feel like a new mom who sees her baby walk his first steps... OK, this calls for celebration, especially since FrenchByDesign is going to celebrate its 3rd month of activity on May 3... Thank you Etsy!!!

New Shop Item!
I found this amazing, incredible, gorgeous file cabinet. Spent all of yesterday cleaning it and giving it some love and TLC. I love it so much that putting it on listing in the shop was almost painful ;-) It is already displayed in my office...
Also, a MAJOR industrial icone is coming to the shop soon.... Remember my post about industrial era pieces and in particular a French circa 50s lamp called Jielde? Yes, A Jielde lamp is coming soon to the shop... Stay tuned!
