Today I am loving...
Today I am loving this bedroom with its grey hues and gorgeous stone wall. And for once, I will say that I love this carpet... too bad seagrass carpeting is not common in the US, it is such a lovely flooring option...

Today I am loving...
Oh, j'aime this bedroom a lot : the low bed with crisp white linens, the white cobra lamp, the openness of the room to the outdoors, the laid back slippers and the general casualness of the room. And what about the flooring... The ensemble is très casual chic. I like this, a lot.

Today, I am loving...
Today, I am loving this bedroom... I am fascinated by the mix of eras and styles presented here : the industrial floor lamp and vintage Gustavian mantel mirror used as a bed headboard, the XIX century painting and the Moroccan ethnic bedcover... Truly unique, outside all the preset rules of interior design but just exquisite. Another brilliant example that thinking outside the box in decorating usually pays off. I love this space!

Today, I am loving...
I keep staring at this bedroom picture spotted on the lovely Cherry Blossom's blog. How serene and peaceful! How stressed can you possibly be in a room like this one? Yes, it is a bit "clinical", color or accessories missing, but after all, with the stressed life we all live, do we need extra visual clutter when it's time for sleep?
I am also amazed at the position of the bed. This space would have probably been automatically categorized as a lost space by most of us. Instead, the bedroom's owner made it "the" spot in the bedroom. Bold and clever. It just gives the bed a more cosy feel, thanks to the niche it's sitting in. Moi, j'aime, and I say bravo!

Today, I feel like staying in my bed all day, so this bedroom is very inspiring to me! More seriously, I love the raw feel of this shot, from the undone wrinkled bed linens to the very rustic headboard and bedside lamp. Proof that style does not necessarily come with high priced designer furniture...
