About kids...

This is my last post of the week my dear, because tomorrow, I'm off blogging and on a full time mom mode. We're going to be busy with play dates, sleepovers, pizza night, catching up on school gossips and recess drama and other very urgent matters. So today's post is about kids corners. ... this fantastic kids cloth hanger stand [but the concept is easily adaptable for a grown up too] by brilliant wood designer Katrin Arens. Simple, eco friendly, and minimalist. J'aime!

House Tour : Herve + Emma + 3

Emma and hubby Herve brought their Parisian lifestyle to their New York upper east side home. New York based correspondent for Milk Magazine, Emmanuelle furnished her nest with second hand market finds and carefully chosen furniture.  As a result, a very European atmosphere reigns throughout the space. I love the personality of this home!

... this teen desk area with its army style canvas wall organizing storage pockets spotted on the always inspiring Milk Magazine. Not to mention the magnificent industrial era desk. J'aime pas, j'adore!

House Tour : Nina + Samuel

Swedish illustrator Nina and husband Samuel moved close to Hyde Park, London with their two sons and transformed this Edwardian Kensington house into a diverse living space. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet relaxed, thanks to the precious wood parquet floors, white walls, contemporary art pieces and vibrant colors throughout the space... the perfect combo for Nina to find inspiration.

Today, I am loving...

Today, I am loving this kids corner with these vintage 1960s camping beds and washed out color pillows... So cosy, comfy, full of different inviting textures, I'd even use these for a grown ups corner! Love, love, love this space.

Oh la la, j'aime...

Oh la la, j'aime this living/playing space with swings and hanging chairs. Also liking this extra large faux fur/plush textured bean bag on the floor... or the giant tic tac toe game on the wall. This would just work for me [hmm, I mean the kids... or not...] ;-)

Major Crush

Major crush for the Hi-Ho sheepskin Rocking Horse by designer Jarrod Lim for Design Within Reach who reinvents the traditional rocking horse into a modern sculpture that can fit into any sophisticated interior. Hmmm... I actually would like one for myself [there's no such thing as age limit on having fun, is there?] because at $875 a pop, I am not sure I'll allow any kid on it ;-)

Three words can describe this home : white, ordered, easy. According to Paula, busy mother of 3 : "People think I’m chicken for only using white but I came to this through a process. The more white I added, the calmer I felt. I pick furniture that’s designed to rescue life’s mistakes, everything is washable. And I’m neat.
