July issue of Stylng magazine!

If you have been reading me over the last week you will know that I am a little busy rushed off my feet at the moment.

Regretfully I wrote to my friend Coty to tell her it would be tricky for me to contribute to Styling magazine this month, and to my amazement she replied straight away saying that she'd be writing the piece for me .... and about me !  Gulp!

I know for a fact that Coty is every bit as busy as I am at the moment.   We regularly take time to chat by skype; while I have a morning coffee in Normandy and she cooks dinner in Australia!  Launching her beautiful on line magazine was a bold move and I am proud to contribute each month.

Coty,  I am incredibly flattered by your article, a big thank you .... we all look forward to seeing Styling magazine grow in leaps and bounds and bring us more beauty every month!

The May issue of Styling magazine was released today and it is wonderful.  Coty Farquhar took the theme of gold for May, and my contribution features the work of a local antique restorer, working on a carved gold frame.

 to bring us her fourth issue filled with beauty.

This month I am honoured to contribute to the magazine,

 whose focus is on textiles and natural beauty.

Besides her regular contributors, you will find fifty pages devoted to pictures of natural beauty through the textiles of specialist Wendy Lewis, the puppets of Valeria Dalmon, the artwork of Jean Boccacino and the interior design of Jan Weeks.

Styling magazine

Have you heard about the new e-magazine Styling?  Created by the über talented Coty Farquhar,   each month Styling magazine showcases creative people, works of art and  and beautiful homes all over the world.

Coty has always worked as a journalist, a stylist, photographer and creative director.  She started her career with Vogue Australia, working on Vogue Living, the Vogue Entertaining Guide and Vogue Children.  But she always had the dream of creating her own magazine.

Coty's blog was one of the first I read.  Attracted by her fantastic photography, and the stunning flowers that she used for styling her shoots.  She lives and works in the beautiful Southern Highlands of Australia.

Coty and I have often exchanged emails, or chatted via facebook; although the 10 hour time difference means that I'm having breakfast while she's preparing dinner!    We share the same family values, and we are both passionate about the importance of art in everyday life, and in our love of sharing beauty.

I was thrilled for her when she announced the first edition on Styling magazine, and even happier when she invited me to contribute!

Styling magazine is free, and by simply typing your email address into the box and the top right hand corner of her blog, you can receive the magazine directly in your email box!  What could be easier!

The March issue is out today!  I am thrilled to be part of it, thank you Coty!  :)  I hope that my readers will have a moment to pop over, a cup of coffee in hand and enjoy browsing this month's pages.
