Today, I am loving...

Oh, I think I'm speechless... This bathroom spotted on Architectural Digest is just pure bliss. Extravagant, yes. Unique, yes. Stylish, yes again. Crazy, for sure. But check this bath space made out of a giant pebble shaped granite piece brought back from Bali and sculpted as a bath receiver - smart idea : all the water pipes and ugly equipment are hidden in the wooden chest by the bath tub -  or the hidden shower head concealed in the baroque chandelier on the ceiling.... Probably not what I would go for if I had that kind of budget, but still...A.M.A.Z.I.N.G... and nothing like anything I've seen before....

Bathrooms inspiration

Today, I am loving these bathrooms. I like every detail in each of them : the ethnic chic theme of the first one with its luxurious African fabric towels, the raw concrete and pebble tiling of the second one and the rustic and industrial feel of the third one.

Shades of White

Annick Lestrohan did it again. She took the challenge given by the owners of this house in the South of France willing to style their home with simple and environmentally friendly materials. The result is breath taking : white everywhere, but also pops of color and ethnic chic pieces that give this house a summery feel. Simply gorgeous!

Bohemian Chic

Claire Lefort is the woman behind the Noro brand. She lives with her husband and three kids in this 1842 stone house that she redesigned as a "mixed Bohemian" interior - to avoid the obviously expected "antique feel" of the 19th century building. Her trick was to use different materials in her mix : wood, metal, rope, concrete, stainless steel. The result is a timeless chic interior where Claire and her family can enjoy their time off from their busy Parisian life.

House Tour : Bjorg Mathiesen

Bjorg Mathiesen is a Norwegian jewelry designer. At home in Oslo, her space is filled with objects and furniture she brought back from her previous stays in New Delhi, India, and Copenhagen, Denmark. The Indian Sari fabrics used as pillows or curtains, the ethnic and Danish wooden furniture mix all contribute to giving this unique space a comfortable, laid back and homy feel. A pure treasure!

A Family House in Gers, France

This gorgeous home is located in Gers, a southwest department in France. The new owner commissioned Chistine Hours, from the Caravane store (one of my favs) and Sarah Lavoine to remodel and redesign the house. The wood beams, white walls and white linen sofa and cosy chaises, the ethnic Moroccan rugs and kitchen stools, and the colored polished concrete stairs and kitchen counter give this home a unique feel. Not to mention the separate guest house with all its amenities (last 2 pics). I am in love!
