Today, I am loving...

Today, I'm loving this curtain holder made out of a palm leaf. What a brilliant [and cheap] option, and what a great way to celebrate nature! Très chic!

Shop Crush : Couleur Chanvre

Couleur Chanvre was born in the French Rhone Alpes region, a region where old dyies and silk factories have slowly been converted into lofts, apartments, supermarkets or museums. To preverse the artisans know how, Couleur Chanvre works with local manufacturers and eco friendly materials and processes of creation. One goal always remains : "to create an accessible and seductive product that is respectful of its environment in all senses of the word."

I have a few pieces from the Couleur Chanvre collection from my previous life in the South of France and I will tell you this : the flower pocket linen tablecloth and bed linens I acquired from their shop have surpassed any of my expectations and still look and feel brand new after many years of use and washes. I am sold - and actually eyeing more of their yummy hemp tablecloths to bring back with me this summer... Gorgeous!

At home with Chantal

Chantal is a busy gal : stylist, landscape architect and flea market hunter. Chantal bought an outdated and charmless 1970s building home and transformed it thanks to her magic touch into a cosy and modern home with a luxurious yard. Magnifique!

Growing is forever

I woke up this morning and enjoyed my cup of coffee while watching this beautiful Vimeo video. This ode to nature is an absolute gem made by Jesse Rosten and written by Kallie Markle entitled "Growing is Forever". Just so beautiful... I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

Talking Tree

An excellent initiative : Talking Tree is a 100-year-old tree located at Brussels, which is now equipped with various sensors measuring the way in which it feels every day. Through a software, this equipment measures and translates its living conditions into human language. You can follow the life of the talking tree via YouTube, Flickr and Soundcloud. And friend him on Facebook.
Brilliant!

A Summer Cabin in Luberon

This gorgeous and comfortable summer cabin located in Vaugines, Luberon, Southern France, has no telephone, no TV, and no internet connection. Michele and Bruno, its owners, kept its natural charm intact and use it to unplug from their busy life...

Who said you had to live on the countryside to enjoy life in nature? These patios and (roof) gardens are located in busy cities.... Simply dreamy...

Happy gardening!
