As this week's buying trip draws to a close, we found ourselves back in Paris, where we spent the morning at the flea market for the professional-only buying time.
Clocks were on our mind, and we lingered a while in front of this baby who at over 3 metres high, dominated all around.
It was fun to try to work out how to use the huge clock, but in the end our choice was more reasonable and we went for a couple of clock faces that are easier to handle!
We found some chairs and looked at various statues, we bought fabric and flags and baskets .... you get the picture ....
and then we heaved a sigh of relief as we left the bustling flea markets and headed into central Paris, decked out with flags for Bastille day .... and the comfort and luxury of our home away from home, Le Meurice Hotel...
never have I so much appreciated the discreet care of a palace hotel, than after our busy week of buying ...
from the delicious food, to the perfumed hallways, to the spotless decor, everything is done to make the guest here feel special, comfortable and welcome .... I could get used to this :)
Today will be spent soaking in the beauty of the capital before my client starts her long journey home.
We have had fun, we have been successful, we are happy with our week's work!
Tomorrow I'll be home and the blog will get back to its normal rythym.
Wishing you a lovely weekend, thank you for reading me.
