An obscenely early start this morning - especially after two ridiculously late nights, but that's another story - and the pickings were not over generous, but a quick tour of a couple of country fairs yielded this little loot shoot, that Gibson and Ghetto insisted on showing you ...
Besides the copper, and the laundry bats, and the transfer-ware, I was really pleased to come across a gentleman selling bunches of peonies from his garden.
I hate to pick my own peonies while they are still in bud, so I bought everything he had, and I hope very much that they will open up this week and allow me to indulge a little flower arranging.
Seven o'clock saw me shopping in the back yard of this lovely château, which was quite... enjoyable!
Please don't write to tell me what a mess Ghetto looks - we know! Monsieur has an appointment with his beautician this week, he promises to show you a before-and-after!
Hope you have had a good weekend too. Thank you for all the interesting comments about 'hiding away', I loved to know about each of your coping mechanisms.
Not sure yet what I'll be bringing you this week, but I'll do my best to make it fun!
