my third birthday!!

Who would have known I'd have so much to say?!!

Exactly three years ago I published my first post on this little blog.  I knew nothing about blogging and I had no reason to think that anyone would ever read me ... it just looked sort of fun!

Here I am nine hundred and something posts  and  millions of  page views later, and I'm still not an expert but I've certainly had a good time!

All I can say is thank you!

Thank you for the kind and spontaneous emails I receive, for the wonderful comments you leave here; for the way you have welcomed me into your homes and stopped by to see what's going on here in mine.

Thank you to all those very talented bloggers and photographers and stylists out there, who inspire me every day; you enrich my life.

Thank you to those of you who I've met, for opening yourselves up and sharing so readily.  Blogging is indeed an amazing world!

I don't know how long I'll be blogging for, but while I'm here I

 promise I'll do my best to entertain you!
