You know how when you find that perfect something
in that perfect faded color and texture?
Something thats so soft and pretty
and that seems to beg you to bring it home with you?

I was shopping for a few gifts at HomeGoods and Ross
when I happened upon a whole shelf of beautiful throws.
(You know how that is... you are shopping for things for other people and find things for yourself. I think it's gotta be a Murphys Law or something)
This one talked to me.
Amazingly soft
woven cable knit
with a long flirty fringe
in a super delightful pale silvery gray blue.
(Did I use enough descriptive words there?) ;)
It was love at first sight.
Instantly I imagined curling up with it on the sofa next to the fire
or that gorgeous pale blue draped on the settee in my bedroom
With it being on sale for under $15- it had to come home with me.

I just might have picked up another couple of them for gifts too.
I have a couple people on my list who would adore them as much as I do
and I am thinking a soft gorgeous throw just might be a perfect gift this year.
:)

It's been busy-busy over here but I took a break and had such a fun afternoon
with my friend Sandy from The Olive and Rose yesterday.
We sat by the fire and chatted for hours about this and that and pretty much everything else.
It always feels like we don't have enough time chat about all the things we have stored up
since the last time we talked!
Sandy and I also laughed about one of the things I was working on.
Yes, laughed... that should tell you something! ;)
I am not 100% sure just how it's going to turn out ~ will share it soon.
See you this afternoon
for Feathered Nest Friday!
