Not long ago
I was running around like crazy
gathering up pieces of white dishes for a special project
that I was pressed to get finished.
Tureens, pitchers, platters, creamers, sugars, teapots & coffee pots,
If it was white... and if it was the right price... I brought it home.
I found most of the pieces over several weeks at different thrift stores- the smalls were usually
.50-$1.00 and most of the larger pieces were not more than $5 or $10.

I also picked up a couple gorgeous pieces from HomeGoods as well- at fantastic prices.
Love the mix of old and new
I didn't really care about the markings or if they even had any- or crazing, chips, etc.

I paid more attention to the shape
or on the shelf of the new built in bookcases out in the guest cottage.
One by one I brought pieces home and placed them just so
until this bookshelf was full.
Then I stepped back
and sighed
My ran around like a crazy woman- looked like it had been collected for years-
white ware collection was perfect.
I am just loving it.
I'll share more about how we built this bookcase & the matching one
on the other side of the room soon.
Little pumpkins have started popping up around the house
so I wanted to share this bookshelf before sharing it's new look for Fall.
Stay tuned
