Did you know that I was decorating for Christmas before Halloween
even happened this year?
It's true...
I had my mantel all decked out for Halloween
and a Christmas tree set up in my dining area!
I felt like I was a little crazy ;)
but I was so excited to be asked to create a Holiday table for
Creating Vintage Charm magazine.
Something with ruffles & prettiness.
I chose pinks as my starting point-
I love soft pale shades of pink with white ruffles
Adding vintage pearl ornaments, silver accents and a bouquet of mixed roses
my vision for a sugarplum table was coming together.
I love how the soft colors and vintage feel of the table
worked with the 'snowy' tree as the backdrop.
This Christmas tree is artificial and heavily flocked
for those who have asked.
It is actually the one that usually goes in my bedroom
but I set it at the end of the table in front of the french doors.
My favorite iron chargers from JCP and my grandmothers china
paired with collected vintage silver.
I love mixing and matching patterns in silver plate
and find pieces of it at the thrift stores and tag sales often.
I love mercury glass and the trees are darling-
a Kohls find from a few years back on clearance.
My pretty in pink table and it's story is published in the Winter edition of
Creating Vintage Charm and I am so honored to grace the cover.
This is an absolutely gorgeous magazine filled with
so much inspiration, ideas and talent!
