Trend Alert : Chalkboard walls

There is nothing new about chalkboard paint, it's been around forever... but for some strange reason, I have noticed a lot of interiors that use chalkbaord paint on one accent wall lately... last one spotted on the cover of the new West Elm catalog.... I love chalkboard wall, because I've been fond of accent walls and I like the practicality a chalkboard wall offers [no more lost post it notes]. Plus, it looks really cool and I love the industrial and raw feel it gives a space. Major bonus : draw your favorite (faux) furniture or designer lamp on your wall {way cheaper than real furniture tags!}
